MARBLE CLEANING

Our trained technicians begin with a comprehensive inspection of your marble surfaces. We identify the marble type (Carrara, Travertine, Calacatta, etc.), check for etching, dullness, stains, and existing sealants. This allows us to determine the safest and most effective cleaning and restoration method tailored to your stone.

 Before work begins, we carefully prepare the surrounding area. All adjacent surfaces, furniture, and skirting boards are protected with high-grade covers and masking materials. We ensure there’s no risk of splashing, dust, or damage to nearby areas during the cleaning and polishing process. 

Using professional-grade vacuums and microfiber dusters, we remove loose dirt, grit, and dust from the marble surface. This essential step prevents abrasive particles from scratching the marble during the wet cleaning and polishing phases.

A specialized, pH-neutral marble cleaner is applied to dissolve built-up dirt, grease, and residue without harming the stone. For heavy soiling or staining, we use a gentle agitation process with rotary machines fitted with non-abrasive pads. This ensures deep penetration while maintaining the integrity of the marble surface.

 Stubborn stains and etched areas are treated individually using professional poultices and restoration compounds. This process lifts deep stains from within the marble pores and carefully evens out etched or dull spots, preparing the stone for polishing. 

This is where the marble truly transforms. Depending on the desired finish (high-gloss or satin), we use diamond-grit pads to hone and polish the surface in multiple stages. The process gradually refines the marble, removing scratches and restoring its natural clarity and depth of color.

Once cleaned and polished, we apply a premium-grade impregnating sealer. This protective layer penetrates deep into the marble to guard against moisture, stains, and daily wear—helping maintain the finish for years to come.

We complete the process with a final buff using soft polishing pads to enhance the marble’s reflective shine. Our team then performs a detailed inspection to ensure a flawless result.
